The art of glass making emerged in Malaga under the protection of the Muslim culture, whose craftsmen began to make the first decorations on glass. At the present time, Malaga counts on workshops in which its artisans work, as much in the engraving and carvings on the glass as in the design and processing of stained glass windows. For this craft raw materials like crystal, lead, bronze and tin are used. This activity counts on the only workshops of Andalusia that work the hollow, flat and carved glass.
